After his parents lose everything - their jobs in the factory,
their beautiful country home with the white picket fence, and their dreams, Bobbyls family is forced
to leave all their family and friends behind.
They move into the city with high hopes of
finding jobs and starting over.
But for Bobby, the struggle is about acceptance,
not only from his new friends, but of his new circumstances.
He must reach inside himself to find the inner strength
necessary to make new friends, live in poverty and stand up to the big, red-haired bully.

Bullies beware the Power of One

Advanced Book Marketing teaches authors, bookstores and publishers the easiest way to sell books. Whether the author is a first-timer seeking name recognition or been around the industry for many years, these techniques garner attention for their books and enhance their current book marketing strategies.
Written by EJ Thornton, author of 6 books and publisher of 160 books for more than 100 authors, Advanced Book Marketing shares the secret techniques she's developed for marketing books since 1998.
This book is based on my personal experiences with survivors. Survivors are the people left behind after a loved one dies. An inescapable part of living is dying. I have experienced, and enjoyed, nearly three decades of pastoral ministry to people who have lost loved ones to death. All the accounts contained herein are factual. I have not included people s names on purpose, to protect the privacy of people involved.
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one or loved ones.
It is my prayer that you the reader, you the survivor, will benefit from reading this book. It is my hope and desire that you are able to process your grief with fewer doubts, and less anxiety; knowing that what you are experiencing is common to everyone who loses a loved one. After reading the chapters, I hope, and pray that you will be determined to live a rich, full life once again.
God bless you in your grief journey, and in your recovery.
Dr. Paul Lassiter is wounded by his wife's infidelity and succumbs to the despair of a broken heart. Seeking companionship, he wades into the dating pool where he's befuddled by women whose dispositions range from ridiculous to murderous. When he finally meets the one , a freak accident renders him blind.
Anticipating further difficulties, he's surprised when his remaining senses, especially his heart, compensate by opening wider, exposing a new world and revealing a new self. Paul's discovery proves powerful, but is it enough to carry him past his biggest obstacle, and unite him with the love of his life?
Paul's journey from darkness will inspire your eyes to open.
With over twenty years emergency room experience, Michael Kintz has witnessed it all; illness, injury, death and worse.
What could be worse than death?
Living without hope.
Michael tells Paul's unique story to teach the world to believe in the power of hope, love and blind faith.
The baby boomers are finally at the door step of becoming old timers and that brings with it lots of concerns, not the least of which is, "Am I over the hill sexually?" We think back on how we viewed our parents in fact our grand parents - when we were youngsters, teens, young couples and thought, "Could those old people still be doing it?" What's worse, we probably thought, "They couldn't be... what a gross thought!"
You bet they were, and in most cases they still are - doing it more than you'd ever have guessed. Furthermore, there isn't anything gross about it!
The fact is that the human animal is normally sexually active to the day it dies. Note we said normally. That is a very significant word. It means that if you are not sexually active it is not the norm.
Up until a few years ago, most of us thought it normal for sex to become less and less important after the age of 50 or 60. That's because no one asked the people who were over the ages of 50 or 60. But now that more people are living to be 70, 80, 90, and 100, we are starting to notice and ask. Research with the elderly shows quite clearly that sex is as important as ever; and quite frequently and happily more fun than ever. We should all be delighted to find that out because it gives us
lots to look forward to.
It also means that if you are not keeping up with the good old Jones's you should be checking it out.
Remember, the norm is that you should be getting it and enjoying it for a long time to come, and if you aren't, you should be questioning why not. In the great majority of cases what ever is stopping you can be remedied.
Sex in the Golden Years - the practice - is great and you should be staying sexually active for the rest of your life!
Sex in the Golden Years - the book - has the purpose of dispeling lots of the old myths and help us continue to be active and happy participants in nature's greatest gift.
Like our grandmother used to say; "If the good Lord didn't want us to do it, He wouldn't have made it feel so good!"
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

The intent of this text is not to promote or endorse any one supplement or modality. My purpose is to raise awareness of the need to embrace an integrated approach in our health delivery system. As best as I see it, "integrated" involves combining the principles of preventative health. Therefore, our goal is not limited to the management of disease but the attainment of health and wellness.
Healthy cells make for healthy bodies. Healthy bodies make for healthy minds. Healthy minds think consciously and seek solutions proactively. Healthy bodies have healthy hearts. They relate empathically with those around them. Healthy bodies have healthy spirits. A healthy spirit has a deep sense of connection with a Divine Maker and commitment to fulfill a Divine purpose deep within us.
Changing the paradigm of health care is a story about people. It's a transformation within each of our hearts. It's learning to love ourselves better, taking better care about ourselves, about not settling for disease. It means proactively standing up for ourselves and our loved ones. Do you like your dentist? Did you have a good experience with the realtor that sold you your house? Call them up and ask if they pay a referral fee for new clients. Ask them if they belong to a networking club and if you could come visit it to see if it was for you. Go and learn from that experience. Then write down on a separate page in your notebook a list of professions who always need new clients. By those professions, write the names of the people you know who practice that profession. You have a great start at creating a passive income stream, because you don't do much except recommend people you already like to people you also already like. It is a win/win/win situation! Bonus!
EJ runs a publishing company and she pays $50 for every author who signs with her. Usually it is only her other authors who do this for her, but she is willing to pay this for anyone who successfully sends her an author she ultimately represents.

Like our grandmother used to say; "If the good Lord didn't want us to do it, He wouldn't have made it feel so good!"
The procession was several blocks long.
Most of the angels flew a protective circle
around the cars. I rode near Glory. She was quiet.
She was calm. She was a comfort to me. I put my
arm around her and she sighed peacefully. I
whispered in her ear. 'The Lord promised me that
these angels would look after you. They've done a
great job so far. I have no reason to doubt they'll
do a great job from now on. I love you. I wish I
could ease the pain of your missing me.'
'What were her choices, Martin?' Mother joined us.
'What do you mean?' I asked.
'You have to realize that her pain is her choice.
The only way for her to avoid this pain right now,
would be for her to have loved you with less than
her full heart. But she did love you with her full
heart - you know she did. If people choose to love
in life, when they lose those whom they love,
they will have pain. The only other choice is
to avoid love, but that is to choose to live
in pain. Let her mourn. It's her tribute to you
and to your love. She wants to do it. She needs to
do it. Soon, her peace will overcome her pain.'
Mother's voice was so soothing for both me and Glory.
'Sacrifice. . .' It's a word used loosely. But, I have seen the true meaning of this word. This is the story of what they did. How small children defeated monsters you and I thought couldn't exist.
I am Aiden Kane, and this is the story of The Children . . .
In a post-apocalyptic world, where nobody is safe from the mutated beasts that roam the shadows, the ones who must fight the fiercest and sacrifice the most to insure the world's survival are the Children.

It's nurturing our bodies and the cells within us each and every day - before illness hits.

Malignant cancers crash across all the lines of goodness, fairness, faith, love, quality of life and ultimately life itself. Apollo's journey through malignant cancer, hand in paw, is the poignant story of a loving owner, dog and their battle to achieve quality of life for both of them. Apollo speaks through the eyes and emotions of his loving companion as she passionately describes her compelling drive and urgency to help them both, unconditionally. As it turns out, Apollo's creed of life becomes focused upon both his and her quality of life. With unspoken determination he becomes the teacher teaching that cancer is not about dying but learning to live the best life possible. Apollo teaches that the will to live is a powerful force. At the same time the dynamics of bonding and spiritual attachment become powerfully defined. The patient and the caretakers work feverishly to gain an understanding of the mechanisms of disease and the properties of healing: mentally and physically. Loud and clear, from compassionate touches to the pursuit of learning, the patient and his devoted owner experience a deepening and ever widening bond of love and compassion.

It's nurturing our bodies and the cells within us each and every day - before illness hits.

With over twenty years emergency room experience, Michael Kintz has witnessed it all; illness, injury, death... and worse.
What could be worse than death?
Living without hope.
Michael tells Paul's unique story to teach the world to believe in the power of hope, love and blind faith.

Dr. Paul Lassiter is wounded by his wife's infidelity and succumbs to the despair of a broken heart. Seeking companionship, he wades into the dating pool where he's befuddled by women whose dispositions range from ridiculous to murderous. When he finally meets "the one", a freak accident renders him blind.
These are a breed of water dog similar to poodles. They are a medium-sized breed with good temperaments. Reportedly, they are loyal dogs, good workers and great companions.
Portuguese Water Dogs are also hypoallergenic due to their waterproof coat. The Portugese water dog is a great choice of breed if anyone in the family is extra sensitive to such things.
According to the AKC, Portugese Water Dogs were originally bred to accompany fishermen on their boats. Due to their swimming ability, they could retrieve stuff out of the water like broken nets, etc.

'Sacrifice. . .' It's a word used loosely.

Do you like your dentist? Did you have a good experience with the realtor that sold you your house? Call them up and ask if they pay a referral fee for new clients. Ask them if they belong to a networking club and if you could come visit it to see if it was for you. Go and learn from that experience. Then write down on a separate page in your notebook a list of professions who always need new clients. By those professions, write the names of the people you know who practice that profession. You have a great start at creating a passive income stream, because you don't do much except recommend people you already like to people you also already like. It is a win/win/win situation! Bonus!

Malignant cancers crash across all the lines of goodness, fairness, faith, love, 'quality of life' and ultimately life itself. As it turns out, Apollo's creed of life becomes focused upon both his and her 'quality of life.' With unspoken determination 'he' becomes the teacher 'teaching' that cancer is not about dying but learning to live the best life possible. Apollo 'teaches' that the 'will to live' is a powerful force.
